Famous for music, good food and fellowship as much as the atmosphere, this friendly bar is perched high over the harbour, built on the ruins of an old castle.
The pub is named after Don Juan Del Aquila who commanded the Spanish fleet during the famous battle of Kinsale in 1601. Cosy turf and log fires burn along with the best of traditional Irish music and also contemporary folk, jazz and blues.
Good food is served, using the best of local produce, especially fish-lunches and evening meals. All major credit cards accepted.
