As one of two self catering cottages, this three bedroom property is set within a real working dairy farm and you can look forward to some home baking treats to help you get settled in. Facilities include a colour TV, dishwasher, microwave and an open fire, while both bed linen and towels come complimentary. This property was among the national winners of the AIB Rural Tourism Awards 2000. At the Rock you can enjoy a free guided tour of the farm and after that, you can enjoy a spot of trout and salmon angling on the River Blackwater. The nearby town of Mallow is well worth checking out, while you are idyllically based in a location that is perfect for touring the wonderful scenery of both Cork and Kerry.
Directions to the rock
Follow the N72 from Fermoy. Turn left at Castletownroche and take the next right. The property is located on the left hand side after 1.5 km.
