A beautiful city deserves a beautiful 5* hotel. Kingsley Hotel, set majestically along the banks of the River Lee provides a luxurious and inviting address for all visitors to Ireland’s southern capital.

The hotel is located at Victoria Cross, Cork, five minutes drive from the city centre and fifteen minutes drive from Cork’s International Airport.

Kingsley Hotel has 131 spectacular bedrooms, Otters Restaurant, Sabrona Lounge and the River bar. Ireland’s first and only Ayurvedic Spa is located in the hotel along with our Health Club with outdoor hydra pool and indoor heated pool.

From Galway/Clare/Limerick
Take the N20 from Limerick, taking you through Charleville, Buttervant and Mallow. On entering Cork, follow the signs for the city centre, passing Murphy's Brewery, on to Carroll's Quay and up to the Christy Ring Bridge. The Cork Opera House can be seen straight ahead. DO NOT CROSS BRIDGE. Take a right turn on to Popes Quay. Pass St. Mary's Church, continue over Griffith Bridge, keeping the river on your left. Drive along the North Mall, up Sunday’s Well road. Continue straight ahead passing St Vincent's Church on the left. Continue downhill where you rejoin the river on your left. Take the next left over Wellington Bridge to the traffic lights (T Junction). Take a right, around an S bend and keep right. When facing The Crows Nest pub, keep in right lane on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.
From Dublin
Take the N8 from Dublin, passing through Urlingford, Mitchelstown and Fermoy. Continue to the Dunkettle roundabout, here take the 2nd exit and go through the 'Jack Lynch Tunnel', taking the flyover on the Kinsale Road (Airport) roundabout. At the next roundabout, Sarsfield roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue up Sarsfield road to Wilton roundabout. Take the 2nd exit continue through 2 sets of traffic lights, go into left lane and continue on to next set of traffic lights and turn left on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.
From Waterford
Take the N25 from Waterford, passing through Dungarvan, Youghal, Killeagh, Castlemartyr. At the Dunkettle roundabout take the 2nd exit and go through the 'Jack Lynch Tunnel’, taking the flyover on the Kinsale roundabout. At the next roundabout, Sarsfield roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue up Sarsfield road to Wilton roundabout. Take the 2nd exit continue through 2 sets of traffic lights, go into left lane and continue on to next set of traffic lights and turn left on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.
From Killarney
Take the N22 from Killarney, passing through Ballyvourney and Macroom. Continue along the Ballincollig by- pass following the signs for Kanturk and Blarney until you come to the Poulavone roundabout. Here take the 2nd exit, continue approximately 3 Kms to the Kingsley Hotel, which will be on the left.
From West Cork
Take the N71 from West Cork, passing through Bantry, Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Bandon and Innishannon. Approaching the city, pass under the Viaduct Bridge (an unused old metal railway bridge). Go straight ahead to the Bandon roundabout (Dunnes stores will be on right hand side) and take the 2nd exit. Continue to the Sarsfield Roundabout and take the 1st exit, on to the Wilton Roundabout. Take the 2nd exit continue through 2 sets of traffic lights, go into left lane and continue on to next set of traffic lights and turn left on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.
From Cork Airport
Exit airport, to the roundabout, take 1st exit and continue to next roundabout, just before roundabout there is a slip road off to the left, take this or alternatively continue to roundabout and take the 1st exit. Continue to next roundabout, Sarsfield roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue up Sarsfield road to Wilton roundabout. Take the 2nd exit continue through 2 sets of traffic lights, go into left lane and continue on to next set of traffic lights and turn left on to the Killarney road (N22). The Kingsley Hotel is 200 metres on the right.

Otters Restaurant at the Kingsley Hotel is rated among the finest restaurants in Cork city. Otters is open 7 days for Breakfast from 6.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., and for lunch from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. Dinner is from 6.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. whilst sampling superb modern Irish cuisine enjoy the lush landscape and flowing river and weir which can be viewed from the restaurant’s large windows.
The ritual of Afternoon Tea at the Kingsley is an experience to behold and which you can enjoy between 3-6pm in the Sabrona Lounge. Here you can also be served lighter options, exquisite tea and coffees from 8am – 11pm.
River Bar is well known as an excellent choice for lunch, open seven days a week from 12.30-2.30pm. Seating also available outside weather permitting.

- Shopping in Cork City (approx. 20 minutes walking distance)
·While in the City for a different shopping experience visit the English Market. Located in the heart of Cork City, the English Market is a covered market for fresh produce such as meat, fish, fruit and vegetables.
Foods from all over the world as well as traditional Cork foods are sold here. The most traditional of all being Crubeens (pigs feet) and the Cork favourite Tripe & Drisheen.

- Play a round of golf at one of Cork’s many superb golf courses (within 30 minutes drive)

Kinsale Village Only a 30 minute drive from the City, Kinsale is known as the Gourmet Capital. The town has lots of award winning restaurants, a beautiful harbour, windy streets, lively pubs and one of the only remaining 17th century star shaped forts in Europe - Charlesfort.
When in staying in Cork City you are also in close proximiy to West Cork, drive this scenic coastline and stop off in the many traditional villages such as Allihies, Baltimore and Glengarriff.
Visit Fota Wildlife Park - located a short drive from the city centre, or you can hop on the train from the City and be here within 20 minutes. The Park is a great family day out with much to see and do.
The Park has over 90 species of animals and prides itself on not being an ordinary zoo but giving animals a free-range environment.
There are many facilities at the park such as, free playgrounds for kids, picnic areas, restaurant, special children’s events and educational programmes to teach children and adults about the animals at the park.
Visit Midleton - Jameson whiskey distillery & museum. Legend has it that this is where whiskey was first invented in Ireland. A stopover to the Old Midleton Distillery is a must. This beautifully restored 18th Century distillery is now a renowned tourist attraction… and visitors have the opportunity to become certified whiskey tasters!
