It was very hot and very noisy. Our room was on the 2nd floor and windows opened directly onto a street with pubs and a night club. We had very little sleep as a result.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked the wrong kind of room on accident and they made the switch at a fair price.
Overall, the entire weekend was excellent. Espescially the spa.

The Hotel was great, the internet access was particularly important in my ranking of the rooms. Travelling from the US, it was great to have relatively inexpensive internet access. I didn't use the facilties/bar during my 2 day stay, mainly went out to explore the city. GREAT LOCATION and good parking.

The hotel was great. The location is excellent. The staff was great to deal with.
Our room was very comfortable, spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast was fine though service a bit slow. Staff were helpful and pleasant. There wasn't really anywhere comfortable to sit and chat quietly with friends late in the evening other than the restuarant as the bar was very crowded and very noisy and all that was available to eat were sandwiches though they did toast them for us.
the imperial hotel was in a good location for walking all around town. it also had it's own bar and restuarant that had some locals but mostly tourists and all the staff were friendly at the bar, and stays open late for its guest's. the front desk staff was efficient but not overly friendly. the rooms were clean and decorated lovely -we had friends in another section and they had lovely rooms as well but their bathroom toiletries were no name brand- i was happy that we had aveda- very impressed by aveda. but wondering why our friends had no name stuff- lucky us. all in all we will definately recommend the imperial hotel to friends family and all who enquire.

Had a wonderful stay, very central and hotel itself is lovely.
Myself and my mum really enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Hotel. We especially enjoyed their new Aveda Spa which we used for an hour and the breakfast was also excellent. We would definitely go back to the hotel.
