Description

As a touring base it is central to Midleton town and the Jameson Center, the Heritage town of Cobh and Fota Wildlife Park and Gardens, the Castlemartyr Resort Hotel, Spa and Golf course, the historic town of Youghal home to Walter Raleigh.
For the golfer it is within a few minutes drive of 10 golf courses in the area.
For the family it is central to excellent beaches from Ballycotton to Youghal for swimming, walking and surfing. There is a variety of amusement parks to suit all ages such as Trabolgan holiday village, Perks amusements in Youghal and greyhound racing in Youghal and Cork.
The area also boosts one of the best cuisine in the world from Ballymaloe House to a range of top class hotels and restaurants.
For the angler the local lake of Loughaderra has fresh water trout fishing and deep sea angling from Ballycotton and Youghal.
