From Dublin – M7 Portlaois –N8 Durrow – Cahir – Michelstown – Fermoy – Cork. Take the N71 for West Cork – Bandon take the R586 to Bantry - Passing through Enniskeane – Ballineen – Dunmanway – Drimleague. Just before Bantry turn left, taking the R591 to Sheep’s Head. The cottages are situated on the left at the end of the main street and are sign posted ‘Sruth Mhuilleann’.
From Shannon: Shannon Airport – Limerick – N21 Adare – Rathkeale – Newcastlewest – Abbeyfeale – Castleisland – N23 Farranfore – N22 Killarney – N71 Kenmare – Glengarriff – Ballylickey. After Bantry take the R591 to Durrus.
