The hotel is conveniently located close to one of Cork's main thoroughfares providing easy access from Dublin, Waterford & Limerick. If traveling from Dublin ccontinue on the M8 / N8 motorway as far as the Dunkettle Road roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards the city centre - N8. Continue on this road for about 2 Kms and take the exit marked for the Silver Springs Moran Hotel, the R635. The hotel is just off this exit on the right hand side.

The hotel is situated only minutes from Cork City centre, Kent rail station and only 12 km from Cork International Airport.

The hotel was clean and well looked after. The room (family room) was excellent had a spacious bathroom and a flat screen tv. The free WIFI was useful. Location was excellent and close to the city centre. The family meal special (50 Euro) was disappointing the menu choice was poor and predictable and the kids (9 and10) didn't really see anything on it that they liked. But the Bar menu was excellent and you could feed the family on it for Euro 50. The leisure centre is about a 50 minute walk away and although it was adequate all of the facilities looked a bit jaded. Overall well worth the trip. Nice staff.

The hotel was excellent in every department except it required a drive or taxi to city center but its only a relatively short distance.
