This is the county library restaurant on the coast between Cork and Kinsale. There is a billiards room, a piano and open log fires. Listed in Bridgestone Top 100.

"This is a premises in which great care has been taken to preserve what is rear", a writer who recently visited Sean na Mbads wrote afterwards, and indeed it is a handsomely restored bar and restaurant. This care is evident also in the food - panfried slices of duck with herbs and orange, goat's cheese souffle, homemade sausages with caramelised onions, rack of lamb with herb crust, roasted saddle of rabbit, a mousse of brill, or perhaps black sole, served with mussels and a sauce of tomatoes and chive. Do note that the restaurant is hard to find, so telephone for directions.
