Courtmacsherry Angling established over 25 years ago first on a seasonal basis but since 1997 when we built 2 new state of the art vessels, we operate on an all year basis. We operate from the fishing village of Courtmacsherry in West Cork,with only a short journey from Air and Sea ports. We provide charter, and self drive boats for the enthusiastic angler or the novice where we provide tuition in boat handling and fishing technique. Accomadation packages arranged in our 18th Century farmhouse, or avail of the splendid hotel and selfcatering in the area. Yearly, Courtmacsherry features highly in the Irish record and Trophy fish book and one of the high lights was the breaking of 2 Irish records in 2000 which had stood for a total of 64 years. We feature quite often in the Angling Press and magazine publications. Last season we accounted for 73 specimens, 50% of all specimen fish were caught by Dutch and Belgian anglers. Shore fishing is exceptional in the area especially for sea bass which are well sought after.
