Sam Maguire Cottages
are beautiful self catering holiday rentals, situated just a few minutes drive from Dunmanway in West County Cork. This is the perfect base to tour all that Cork has to offer including the stunning towns and villages along Cork's West Coast such as Baltimore, Glengariff, Clonakilty and many more.
The cottages are made up of 8 detached homes, each with three bedrooms. The accommodation has the capacity to sleep seven and two of the rooms have en-suite facilities. The houses are beautifully decorated and maintained. The kitchen come fully fitted with all modern conveniences and the living area is spacious and has an inviting open fire.

Directions to sam maguire holiday cottages
From Cork:
Follow N22 through city centre & then N71 from Victoria Cross signposted West Cork.
Follow N71 through Innishannon, Bandon & into Dunmanway.
From Dublin
: Take the N7, M7 south & N8 through Abbeyleix, Durrow, Michelstown, Fermoy, Rathcormac.
At Dunkettle Interchange take N25, through Jack Tunnel.
Then follow N71 through Innishannon, Bandon & R586 through Ballineen into Dunmanway.
From Shannon:
Take N20 through Charleville, Mallow & into Cork.
Follow N22 through city centre & then N71 from Victoria Cross signposted West Cork.
Follow N71 through Innishannon, Bandon & then R586 through Ballineen into Dunmanway.
In Dunmanway:
Pass over Long Bridge. Take road to right signposted for Macroom R587. Follow this road for 3km exactly. Pass by an old garage on left approximately 2.8 km out this road. Take the next turn left signposted for the Sam Maguire Homestead, Visitor Centre & Holiday Homes.
Rooms
Each architect designed house has been fitted out to the highest standards and offers luxurious, spacious accommodation with three bedrooms sleeping up to 7 people.
The master double room is ensuite with plasma screen T.V., 1 double & single room and a second double room en suite.

Dunmanway is the perfect place to base yourself to tour all that West Cork has to offer. You are within easy access to a lot of picturesque and friendly towns such as Bantry, Inchydoney and Clonakilty to mention a few.
The Sam Maguire visitor centre is right on your doorstep where you will find out about this GAA legend. A festival in his honour also takes place each year in the town. Appreciate the beautiful scenery as you drive along the west Cork coastline or the more enthusiastic can enjoy an exhilarating walk along The Sheeps Head Way.
