We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has been newly refurbished and it is lovely. We particularly liked the relaxing ceiling lights in the bedroom, the underfloor heating in the en-suite, the leisure facilities and the food. Our only quibble would be that you can't order a full breakfast to your room (just tea and breads).

It was quiet and friendly lovely to see irish staff, I'm not biased . It may be cheaper to employ non nationals but it's the friendliness of the Irish that bring me back to a hotel.Just to say hello and ask you a simple question about your stay in the hotel ... thats the Irish!! The main entrance to the hotel is not sign posted We went to where we thought was the main entrance, with luggage and and infannt I wasn't impressed to be waiting on a corridor while a large wedding party passed by. A helpful attendant came to our rescue..... a signpost would have avoided us getting lost! Foyer is fantastic pity some money wasn't spent upgrading the rooms!

Very comfortable. Pool was lovely. Bar food was great, it was also handy to serve bar food until 9.00 because we didnt feel like getting dressed up and going into the city. My brother also proposed to his girlfriend in the Rochestown Park hotel on a separate occasion so its a special place for them.

I was surprised, as a single, older woman, to be treated so well. Other places I was treated as though something was wrong or missing...Thank you all for the warm welcome. I loved my room because it was so clean!
