There are six spacious, en suite guest bedrooms. All are well decorated and have tea making facilities and a TV. A full breakfast menu is available each morning serving the very best of locally sourced produce while evening meals can also be prepared if you ask in advance. For those who want to holiday beside the sea, this is the place to stay.

It has a reputation for being one of the best spots in Ireland for watersports based holidays. For the less adventurous you can easily blow those cobwebs away with a walk along one of the nearby sandy beaches. Alternatively you can explore the off shore Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands – boats depart Baltimore daily for these islands.

We arrived at Rathmore House in Baltimore at around 1:00AM after a long journey from Dublin. We were very appreciative of the fact that the owners son waited up for us. Rathmore House is very nicely appointed, very comfortable, and the welcoming for two lost Americans was very gracious. We highly recommend Rathmore House.

Excellent place to explore the islands and for accomodation. Marguerite is a very friendly person and she is making very tasty breakfasts. I was enjoyed and ready to stay again.
