Staff were lovely we were provided us with coffee when our room wasn't ready
Reception was pleasant and helpful. Restaurant was adequate though they showed the signs of dealing with large numbers and the decor was very brown and the lighting dull. I didn't even explore the facilities. The hotel was very well placed for visiting friends as far apart as Cork city and Ballydehob. My room was quiet despite the numbers of families with young children.
Happy, but upset in that the reception staff converted my bill into £ without asking me first. I assume it was done to make more money for hotel. I hate being taken advantage of! Rest assured I won't be taken for again.
The facilities at the hotel are fantastic, the swimming pool and gym are a great waay to the relax and the breakfast is excellent.

Overall nice place for break with family (pool etc. great) but absolutely hated the style of the buffet breakfast. We were waiting 15 mins to be seated, and the quality of the food was poor - one would get better buffet style breakfast in Bewleys-type cafe, no reason for lower quality in a hotel, I think.
Hotel had friendly atmosphere staff were always helpful . Although I understand health and safety rules are binding , I was dissapointed that my teenage children were not allowed more access to the pool area without a parent/guaurdian being in the area .I thought a little more leiniancy may have gone down well .
Very good standard. Comfortable but rooms a bit too hot at night!
