Directions
Follow the signs for N27, Kinsale. At the Kinsale Road Roundabout follow signs for N25 West Cork. At the Sarsfield Roundabout take second exit and on to the Bandon Road Roundabout and take the first exit. Follow signs for N71. At next small roundabout go straight across still following the direction of N71 to Bandon. Pass through Innishannon and on to Bandon town. Go straight across the Bypass roundabout until you arrive at T-Junction. Turn right and follow signs for Dunmanway/Bantry R586. Pass through Enniskeane and Ballineen until you arrive at Dunmanway. At the Town Square turn left and keep left at the next fork in the road. Follow road straight on and The Parkway Hotel is situated on the left hand side.
Local Area
The old market town of Dunmanway gets its name from Dun-na-m-beam – the fort of the pinnacles. This area of West Cork is full of spectacular scenery, with hills and lakes to the north, south and west, Dunmanway is an ideal location for hill walking, horse riding, fishing, pitch and putt, and swimming. Other local amenities include a Sam Maguire GAA pitch, soccer pitch, rugby pitch and handball alley

Gougane Barra
Site of the 6th Century hermitage of St. Finbarr, Patron Saint of Cork, it sits on a little island on a lake against a backdrop of rugged hills.
Bantry Bay
Beautiful Bantry Bay is home to the mussel farms and fishing fleets which supply the fresh produce offered in many of West Cork’s restaurants, including The Parkway Hotel. A traditional market is held in Bantry on the first Friday of every month.
Kinsale
Travelling south from Dunmanway you will soon arrive at the stunning fishing fishing village of Kinsale with its array of boats and yachts moored in the picturesque harbour. Host to the famous Gourmet Food Circle of West Cork, Kinsale offers an abundance of water sports and the coast road attracts bird watchers and anglers alike.
