Oriel House Hotel Leisure Club and Spa is located in the bustling town of Ballincollig west of Cork City in the direction of Killarney.  Ballincollig has plenty of shops to keep the shoppers happy and has a good social scene. The hotel is just 10 kilometers from the city centre which is a 10 - 12 minute car or bus trip.

Oriel House Hotel has 78 luxurious bedrooms, including family rooms and suites. The Orgialla Restaurant is fine dining at its best and the contemporary Powder Keg Bar is popular with locals and visitors alike. The hotel has excellent Conference and Function Rooms, an extensive Leisure Club and Spa.

Oriel House is close to several major tourist attractions including Ballincollig Gunpowder Mills, Blarney Castle and Gardens, Fota Wildlife Park and the historic town of Cobh. It is also within close proximity of Cork Airport.

From Cork International Airport
Follow the signs for the South Ring Road, West Cork upon leaving the Airport. Take the slip road before The Kinsale Road roundabout marked N22. Go straight through The Sarsfields Road roundabout and then the Bandon Road Roundabout, still staying on the N22. After the Bandon Road roundabout, take the 4th exit off the N22 marked Ballincollig West/Killumney R608. Follow the signs for Ballincollig. Upon entering Ballincollig, The Oriel House Hotel is situated on the left hand side.
From Cork City
Follow the signs for the Western Road. When on the Western Road turn right onto Carrigrohane Road - N22. At the Poulavone Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the R608 (signposted Ballincollig). Continue forward onto the R608 entering into Ballincollig town. Continue straight through Ballincollig town and the Oriel House Hotel is located on the right hand side. Just 10 minutes drive from Cork city.
From Kinsale Road Roundabout
At the Kinsale Road roundabout take the 3rd exit marked West Cork. Go straight through The Sarsfields Road roundabout and The Bandon Road roundabout, still staying on the N22 marked Ballincollig West/Killumney R608. Follow the signs for Ballincollig. Upon entering Ballincollig, The Oriel House Hotel is situated on the left hand side.
Bedroom
Our spacious guest rooms are the epitome of comfort and style. Equipped to the highest standards of the modern traveller,  they have been designed to offer total accessibility to all our guests.  Bedroom comforts include:

Our Spa is certainly something special and en experience not to be missed. Our skilled therapists and wonderful surroundings will take your mind and body to new levels of relaxation and well-being. The Spa has 7 treatment rooms, an extensive Thermal Suite, 4 person Rasul, the exclusive Hammam table and tranquil relaxation areas.

The BABOR skincare line is the choice of the Spa at Oriel House. Found in prestigious spas around the world, BABOR follows an holistic philosophy combining nature with science for wonderful, visible results.

There is a vast range of face and body treatments for men and women to choose from. Therapies include facials, massage, wraps and scrubs. Guests with treatments of 60 minutes or more are advised to arrive at the Spa at least 1 hour and 15 minutes before their treatment to avail of complimentary use of the Thermal Suite. All other clients are advised to arrive 15 minutes before their treatment commences.

The Thermal Suite
Our Thermal experience is based on the ancient ritual of bathing where the body is treated with a series of heating and cooling experiences. This sensory journey through heat and cold, aims to induce deep relaxation. Within the Thermal Suites you will find  the Aroma Steam Room, the Ice Fountain and Experience Showers.

We have ladies and gentlemen’s changing rooms and the Thermal Suite and Spa areas are communal. You’ll need to bring your own swimwear.

For hotel guests, the Spa at Oriel House is open Sunday to Wednesday 9.30am - 6.00pm and from Thursday to Saturday 9.30am - 8.00pm.
Day guests to that Spa can book between 10.00am and 6.00pm.
