The shelves are lined with special things: the bags of good foods such as macroom Oatmeal; Maldon salt; Puy lentils; the bunches of vegetables brought in by Joe Eats Organic; the farmhouse cheeses. This atmosphere of fun and this dedicated element of choice makes Wendy O'Byrne's shop one of the best wholefood shops in the country. Like all the other good shops, it is both a magnet for good foods and an inspiration to producers, cooks, and anyone else who is discriminating about the small things, the details that combine to present us with delicious, distinctive food.
