Directions
On your approach from Cork on the N71, turn right at the Methodist Church and follow the signposts for Macroom/Crookstown. Cross over the river and turn left at the Post Office and statue into North Main Street. You will pass a church on your right. Take the next right turn up Kilbrogan Hill (which is signposted Macroom and Newceston). You will find Kilbrogan House about 200 yards up at the top of the hill next to Chaplins and opposite Kays Florist and a Day Today corner store. The driveway is at the side of the house and parking is at the rear.

Kilbrogan House features 4 beautiful bedrooms, all of which contain spacious ensuite facilities. Each bedroom is beautifully furnished with wooden floors, antique furniture and rugs, which have been lovingly hand made.
Enjoy a restful nights sleep in luxurious sprung mattresses and starched Egyptian cotton bed linen .
During the day the sunlight streams through the large Georgian sash windows and by night the shutters and curtains are used to keep the room cosy with a homely ambience.

The pretty town of
Bandon
is a busy market and business centre which is located just 16 miles from Cork city. During the 19th century Bandon grew as a leading industrial centre, which included brewing, distilling, corn and cotton milling. Today Bandon is a thriving town and facilities include a well equipped shopping centre, there is a large variety of excellent shops including two renowned butchers, a gourmet store, a health food shop, two bookshops and an art gallery. Pubs, restaurants and coffee shops abound. There is even a small country market, which operates on Fridays and Saturdays.
Historic Attractions in Bandon
The Shambles built in 1810 as a meat market.
The West Cork Heritage Centre (Christchurch) – one of the first protestant churches in Ireland built around 1625.
St Patrick’s Church. The west facing window was designed by the famous stained glass artist, Harry Clark.
St Peters Church built in 1847 as a replacement for an older church dating back to 1614.
The Methodist Church (1821) .
The old town wall.
Old Railway station.
Golf, sailing, horse riding, forest walks and tennis can all be enjoyed locally.
