A Garden Party without Fuss and Fertilisers. In Ireland, shadows are not created by concrete and steel. Light breaks through cloud, splits the crowns of trees, dodges twigs, and reflecting on the lake, is mirrored in the eyes of its spectator. Your eyes must become accustomed to this at first, but soon new insights are followed by fundamental perceptions.

Liss Ard's 50 acres open the way for a unique experience in nature. Carefully laid pathways guide you subtly through this contemporary landscaped garden with its 10 rooms. Each room enhances a visitor's personal perception of light and nature.

A feast for the senses, eyes wander over the hill and dale - a sea of colours. It is here when the sound of nature takes you. Blooming perfumes and secret waters invite you to stay.

Amidst the fascinating flora and fauna, sensitively built architectures create incomparable magical moments. The bordering lake is destination of the many brooks and rivers flowing through the gardens. Could it be your destination after a wonderful expedition?
Description
This conceptionally unique garden creates enlightening moments. The architecturel structures, designed by American artist James Turell, carefully tuned to the surrounding landscape and induce new perceptions of light and sky.

A monumental part of the garden is the Crater. Its green vault is reached through a dark corridor. Its 360 degrees perspective will overwhelm you: celestial infinity!
