Directions

Take Newmarket Rd from Kanturk and take 1st left off main rd. Continue for 1.5km and take 1st right - Cottage 1km up the rd on the right.

Local Area

Within 5 minutes walking distance of the cottage, is a Woodland area that has some beautiful scenic walks & perfect for fishing

The landscape of this region consists of rich farmlands and lush river valleys. The area is excellent for a range of recreational activities including golf and angling and it is also a fantastic touring base.

Newmarket is located in north County Cork in the Blackwater Valley.
Within walking distance of the cottage is the "Island Wood", where you will find lovely river and forest walks. This area is suitable for fishing also.

The Cottage consists of a Utility Room, Fully Fitted Kitchen, Separate Living / Sitting Room with pull out sofa-bed, Master Bedroom with Ensuite, 2nd Bedroom with twin beds and a spacious main bathroom with bath and shower.
All rooms are fully equipped, decorated and finished to the highest standards.

A dvd player with a selection of films is available in the Living / Sitting Room.
A cd player is available in the kitchen.
A selection of books and magazines are also provided.

There is a separate living and kitchen areas with utility room.  During the Summer months garden furniture is laid out on the back lawn area.  The modern fitted kitchen contains all mod cons including dishwasher, microwave etc. while there is a washer / dryer available in the utility Rrom located beside the kitchen.

There is an inviting open fireplace in the living room,  perfect for the Irish Winter or Summer for that matter!
      
All bed linen & towels are provided free of charge.
