The Festival is a festival for lovers of Irish music. It takes place over the June bank holiday weekend each year and combines the very best of contemporary and traditional Irish music. Visitors are entertained with free out door concerts and music sessions in pubs....

The Cork International Folk Dance Festival has, since its inception in 1995, brought folk dance troupes from some of the most diverse cultures throughout Europe and the world to perform in Cork. The 2008 festival will be held from the 23rd to 27th of July....

Walks are graded and guided and include walks of Toe Head, Glandore, Skibbereen Trail Famine Walk, Lough Hyne, Union Mall/Myross and Gougane Barra.
