The Doneraile Festival is a community event involving the whole village of Doneraile in family and traditional entertainment with a strong literary theme, Edmund Spenser, Elizabeth Bowen, Canon Sheehan, Honor Treacy and John B Keane....

This is an event that celebrates all things agriculutral and it  has been running for the past 24 years and has grown from a one day show to a major 2 day event. The 2008 event will be held form the 28th to 29th of June....

The festival is a celebration of the visual and performing arts.
Events include displays by local artists, historical walking tours of Buttevant and the Ballyhoora Mountains, concerts, plays and traditional music sessions.
Each year a pageant commemorating an event in the town’s history is performed in the streets....

Our festival caters for young and old with everything from threshing, vintage steam rally amusements, music, bar facilities, monster market and car boot sale....

The Wild Boar Festival, Kanturk. A festival of the people, for the people, by the people.This is a festivial of street entertainment, where you can see clowns, magic,bands buskers and so much more. The fireworks at night really make the town come to life.   All are welcome.
