damhsa fest 09 cork international folk dance festival

Damhsa Fest 09 is the only International Folk Dance festival of its kind in the 32 counties of Ireland. This year the festival runs from 21 July to 27th July 2009. The International Folk dancers will be performing all over Cork City and County during the festival. Towns featured include Cobh, Carrigaline, and Blarney, Mallow, Kinsale, Dunmanyway and Cork City. The highlight of the week will be the Dance Extravaganza Concert in City Hall on the 25th July at 8pm. Make it a night to remember with performers from India, Ukrainian Canadians, Russia, Slovakia, The Philippines and Ireland.
