The Cork Butter Museum celebrates the success of the Butter Trade which was once so imminent in this part of Ireland.  It's no suprise that due to the important role of dairy faming in Ireland that the art of butter making became so popular.

Tour the museum and see the equipment which was used to make the butter. Find out how the butter was preserved and how it was sold and how the Cork Butter Exchange eventually became one of the largest butter markets in the world.
