The
Commodore Hotel
is located in the historic and beautiful town of Cobh. This

Georgian residence overlooks Cobh harbour and is one of the most renowned hotels in town. The hotel offers guests a wide range of facilities with it’s 42 elegantly designed bedrooms many with superb views over Cobh harbour, a choice of restaurants, hotel bar and swimming pool, The Commodore really does cater for everyone’s needs.
In the past Cobh formerly known as Queenstown was the main port of Irish emigration, this was where the Titanic last docked and where many survivors of the Lusitania ship were brought to.

The Commodore Hotel is situated only a few minutes walk from many tourist attractions which played a big part in the towns past such as St. Colemans Cathedral, Cobh Heritage Museum and Cobh Museum.

Directions
The hotel is located just 25 minutes drive from Cork city centre about 19 km, N25 Rosslare, Waterford & Cobh route, take the 3rd exit off the dual carriage way onto the R624 which will bring you to Cobh. The hotel is located in the centre of Cobh town opposite the harbour.
You can also take the train from Cork city train station, these trains depart Cork approx. every hour and also take only 25 minutes.

is the main hotel restaurant with beautiful views out over the harbour. The restaurant has an excellent reputation for fabulous gourmet food inspired by traditional Irish recipes and also Mediterranean flair. The varied menu uses only the finest of Irish ingredients and caters for everyone’s needs. The restaurant also offers a great list of fine wines served to you by professional and friendly staff.
The Maritime Bar
is an excellent place to unwind with a drink after a heavy day of sightseeing listening to the hotels resident musicians. Here you can mingle with tourists and locals alike, the bar has a very friendly atmosphere.
You can also choose to dine informally here in the
Captains Table Restaurant
surrounded by a great collection of wartime memorabilia.
If the bar isn’t for you, you can choose to kick back and relax in the hotels lounge area next to the roaring fire.

You can take part in the Titanic Train – a guilded walking tour revealing the locations and incidents connected to the Titanic.
For the people who are interested in the outdoors, Fota Wildlife Park is situated in Little Island, very close to Cobh. The park features over 90 varieties of animals ranging from Giraffes to Cheetahs. The park also has a café and gift shop. Also situated in Little Island is Cork Golf Club, which has played host to many Irish golfing competitions such as the Irish Open and the Irish Close Championships.
