A warm welcome awaits you on arrival at Claragh Bed and Breakfast with a welcoming tray of tea/coffee and Cecilia’s home baking. This is served in the guest lounge. Cecilia will be only too happy to help you with suggestions where to eat in the lovely village of Blarney. Breakfast has a choice of a grilled Irish breakfast or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or fruit salad with Irish yoghurt and Irish cheese or American style French toast served with warm cinnamon apple puree. This is served from 8.30 to 9.30 am. The bedrooms in Claragh are decorated in pastel colours with floral accents. It is a non-smoking home and all rooms are on the ground floor. There is a private car park and the gardens are for guests use.

Our stay at Claragh house was fantastic! Celia is a perfect host and runs her B & B with complete professionalism. At the same time, she is friendly and obliging. She made us feel like family. The next time we travel to Ireland, we will, without a doubt, stay at Claragh House. The only drawback was that the bedrooms were a bit small.

Top class accommodation in an excellent setting, with wonderful hostess and host.If we had asked for the world they would have tried to get it for us. Must recommend a car though because it is about a 10 min drive out of Blarney.(We were cycling) Having said that there is a wonderfull pub and Italian restaurant which our host very kindly dropped us at and then we had a 10-15 min stroll back up the hill to our beautiful accommodation. (Actually we had a few pints of Guinness so it may have been a little bit longer).I would definitely recommend the restaurant, it must be the cheapest in Ireland and has a very good menu and great service. I have not given the value for money a 10 because you can get the same kind of value in England for £10 to £15 less. The Euro exchange rate in the Republic of ireland does not help either.
