Castlemartyr Resort is a 17th Century manor house on the grounds of a 100 year old castle. The 5 star resort offers many luxurious facilities such as Ann Semonin Spa, Ron Kirby designed 18 hole golf course, gourmet dining options and a fitness centre.

All guestrooms are designed with comfort and elegance in mind. When staying at the hotel guests can take a carriage tour of the castle’s 220 estate, where you can visit a historic chapel, the tomb of the fourth Earl of Shannon and Mitchell’s woods.

Castlemartyr Resort is only 20 minute drive from Cork city and 30 minutes from Cork Airport. The hotel is ideally situated between Midleton and Youghal and only 10 minutes from the quaint fishing harbour of Ballycotton - an ideal base from where to explore all the South East has to offer.

Directions

From Cork International Airport, guests can drive east for 30 minutes to reach the hotel and the village of Castlemartyr in East Cork.

At Sarsfield Road Roundabout take the 1st exit onto South Ring Road - N28 Jack Lynch Tunnel
At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N25
Continue forward, then merge onto the N25
Continue forward onto the N25 Midleton
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N25
Continue forward onto The Heights - N25 Entering Castlemartyr Village
At the traffic lights turn right onto Ladysbridge Road

Dinner is served each evening in the Bell Tower Restaurant - four connected elegant dining rooms overlooking the formal gardens.  The chef alters the menu daily using only in season ingredients. 

Knights Bar
Look up upon entering this bar! The magnificent Rococo ceiling has been fully restored, the bar was once described by the famous English travel chronicler Arthur Young as “the best room in Ireland”.
Guests can enjoy afternoon tea here with home-made scones and jam. In the evenings guests can sample the extensive whiskey collection.

ClubHouse
Open daily for food and drinks between 12 noon and 8pm.  Sit, relax and enjoy the amazing views over the 18 hole Castlemartyr Links.

Fitness and Wellness 
The Ann Semonin Spa at Castlemartyr Resort is a full service spa with fitness facilities, featuring extensive health, beauty and wellness indulgences. On offer are 10 treatment rooms, vitality pools, a 20m indoor heated ozone-treated swimming pool, steam rooms, saunas, a yoga and pilates studio, VIP suites.

Additional Things to do at Castlemartyr Resort:
Horse and Carriage €50 for a 45 min tour of the estate.
If you are a dog lover our two adorable Red and White Irish Setters - Earl and Countess, can be taken for a walk around the estate - just ask at reception.
