The Castle Hotel is located in the centre of Macroom town on the main street, the building has a stone faced front, you can’t miss it. Macroom town is on the N22, located halfway between Cork and Killarney
Macroom offers numerous bars, restaurants and shops and with Cork city only a half an hour drive away you will be spoilt for choice , the city is full of excellent restaurants, pubs and nightclubs. Local attractions include The Bealick Mill, Macroom Castle, The Briery Gap Theatre, Millstreet County Park. Blarney Castle, his 12th Century castle is famous for being home to the Stone of Eloquence which is said to give those who kiss it the 'gift of the gab'. In addition to the stone and the partially rebuilt castle there are also extensive gardens that are well worth exploring. Excellent hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. The building itself is a nice mix of old and new to make an extremely comfortable, relaxing and convenient environment. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

Dan Buckleys Bar which has previously won the Black and White Munster Hotel Bar of the Year, serves an extensive daily Bar Menu as well as a Carvery Lunch which is not to be missed. ‘B’ is the award winning in house restaurant serving both international and Irish cuisine The Continental Style ‘The Next Door Café’ serves scrumptious coffee and cakes, great for a quick snack. Internet Access is available in the Residents Lounge. The Leisure Centre is a great place to relax and unwind, here you will find, 16m deck heated swimming pool, childrens pool, steam room, state of the art gym. The new Holistic Therapy Suite offers a wide range of treatments to pamper yourself such as, Indian Head Massage, Full Body Massage and Reflexology. Conference and Banqueting Facilities are also available in the hotel. Private car parking is available at the rear of the hotel for all guests
