For those wishing to visit Cork City, a regular public bus service runs from the front gate of the hotel to the city centre. The hotel is included in the prestigious Georgina Campbell Jameson Guide 2007 as one of Ireland’s best places to eat, drink and stay. .
Directions
The hotel is located just 15 minutes drive south of Cork City and is very easy to locate.
Car:
Arriving by car from either the west, east or north, follow the signs for the South Link Road and then follow the prominent signs for Carrigaline.
Cork Airport:
Arriving into Cork Airport, we are just 10 minutes drive by car or in a taxi, south of the airport.
Bus Service to/from city centre:
A regular public bus service brings the guest in 20 minutes from the city centre to the door of the hotel.
Ringaskiddy Ferryport:
We are just 3 kilometres from Ringaskiddy Ferryport where Brittany Ferries arrives from France into Cork. We are the closest hotel to the ferryport.
The hotel is in the main street of Carrigaline, with shops, pubs and restaurants all on the doorstep. We are also just 5 minutes drive from the coast.

With contemporary seating and lighting and polished wooden floors, the overall impression is of brightness and space during the day and relaxed sociable atmosphere in the evening time. Large plasma screens have been introduced throughout the Bar and all major sporting events are screened live. Carvery Lunch is served every day in the Bar including Saturdays and Sundays. A tasty Bar menu is available every afternoon. The ideal venue for relaxed drinks and sociable atmosphere. Its also the perfect spot for enjoying pre or after-dinner drinks having enjoyed an excellent meal in the Bistro Restaurant in the hotel.

The award-winning Bistro Restaurant offers a sumptuous range of delicious dishes, specialising in international and local cuisine. An extensive wine-list is also available. Its design and atmosphere is breath-taking as the Bistro is made up of several different dining areas, all offering a different style of décor and design. Within 5 minutes walk of the hotel is a superb pedestrian walk along the banks of Cork Estuary with picturesque views over the water. This walk stretches for 5 miles to the renowned sailing town of Crosshaven. A superb public children’s playground is located just 50 yards from the hotel which offers hours of fun for small children. Shops, pubs, restaurants, banks and an extensive library are all on the doorstep.

Amenities within a short driving distance include Cobh Heritage Centre, Cork City Centre and its historic sites, the picturesque town of Kinsale, Midleton Distillery, numerous sandy beaches, Cork’s largest shopping centre Mahonpoint and much more.
Fota Island Wildlife Park, located just 15 minutes drive from the Carrigaline Court Hotel, offers a wonderful parkland visit with over 90 species of wildlife. It offers a fascinating day trip for all the family. Fota Wildlife Park has just opened Irelands first Cheetah Run. Come and watch Cheetahs being fed on a special device which makes them sprint! They are fed every day at 4pm.
Other species at Fota Wildlife Park include giraffes, monkeys, kangaroos, ostriches, penguins, seals, zebras and many other exotic species.
The adjacent historic Fota House, Gardens and Arboretum is also well worth a visit.
