Blarney Castle in County Cork has stood proudly for nearly six hundred years. Today many tourists flock to Blarney to see its beauty and of course to kiss the Blarney Stone for the gift of eloquence! Other places to visit include Rock Close and gardens and Blarney woollen Mills. There are also a number of beautiful restaurants and cafes within the village.

Blarney is just 8km from Cork City, so take the opportunity to explore, enjoy lunch in Crawford Art Gallery, a night out at the theatre or perhaps a spot of retails therapy!
For the kids and the adults as well, a visit to Fota Wildlife Park near Cork City is a must and it is sure to make a fantastic day out for all the family.
