Directions to Anchor Bar Cottages
Approching Cork, N25 West via the tunnel, continue on N25 west throught the Kinsale road roundabout and Sarsfield road roundabout. At Bandon road roundabout the N71 West/Cork  Bandon,  Take N71 route to West Cork/Bandon. proceed through Bandon on the N71. On the outskirts of Bandon, on the N71, opposite the Peugeot  Garage (Garage on the right) veer left for Timoleague R602/Courtmacsherry R601. You will pass a sign for Bandon Grammer School on your left. After approx 200 meters, take a sharp left for Timoleague R602 - Please be careful at this point as it is easy to miss the turning. Continue on this road for Timoleague. At Timoleague, turn left for Courtmacsherry over the bridge. As you come into Courtmacsherry Village, the Church is located on your right. Approx 200 meters beyond the Church, the holiday cottages are on your right hand side opposite a large anchor. (Houses are painted yellow).

Description

Each cottage contains two bedrooms and can accomodate six people. The cottages are tastefully deocrated throughout and private parking is also available. The cottages are family friendly with a garden for guests use and a babysitting service is available on request.  Whether it be tranquillity of the adjacent seaside or, the beautiful surrounding woodlands or its scenic location, its suitability for families or the more retiring make this an excellent location as a touring base for the West Cork and Kerry Regions. Spectacular views of the inner Bay, which surrounds a much admired Bird Sanctuary. Courtmacshery Bay with its many beaches and walks is ideal for families and those who wish to relax. The upper harbour under the famed and historical walls of Timoleague Abbey is a bird watchers paradise. Courtmacsherry offers an excellent choice of bars and hotels, combining traditional and modern music bar, food and friendly conversation.
