The Burren Way: The Burren is a limestone Karst region, internationally renowned for its geological features, archaeological remains and magnificent flora. The Burren Way never fails to captivate its visitors. The jagged terrain of this uniquely beautiful part of Ireland and the majestic Cliffs of Moher (with views of the Aran islands), are two of the delights of this wonderful ramble through hills and turloughs. The route follows through Ballyvaughan, Ballinalacken, Doolin and Cliffs of Moher car park. Total distance: 35km/22 miles. Longest stage: Ballyvaughan to Ballinalacken 20kms/12.5 miles. Highest Point: 300m 980ft.
