Staff very efficient and helpful. Rooms very clean . Crisp linen on bed, nice towels. Owing to a death in the family we had to leave early, got a refund for the night,which we appreciated very much. Patrick from MMayo.

There was not a lot i liked about this hotel, lights broken in hotel room, bathroom door did not close properly shower overflowed and flooded bathroom bed clothes were damp. Bar was not open after 9pm food in restaurant very very poor in general not a very nice stay owner/manager not friendly at all. would not reccomend this hotel to any body young or old. As food so bad we had to use restaurant in hotel across the road even for breakfast which was inculded in price of our stay at Royal Spa. very dissapointed would not return.

We enjoyed the complete friendliness we received from the minute we arrived in the hotel. The staff were very very nice to us and were polite and very courteous at all times. Another nice stay in Co Clare.

We liked the hotel very much as it was very central to all the places we wanted to visit eg: Ballyvaughan, Alliwee Caves. The Cliffs of Mohar. They were all approx 30 mins or less of a drive from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. And can i also say the girl that gave us our breakfast in the mornings in the cafe was excellent also....

The Royal Spa Hotel was comfortable and clean. Not very big as I had a single room, but I wasn't in Ireland to stay in my room the whole time.

I was a pity we were not aware of Christy Moore appearing the following week otherwise we would have changed our dates. There was some music which was good and that was why we wanted to go to Clare. Pizza in the bar at midnight was a great idea.

We are a married couple, late 40s and have stayed at many hotels. The staff were friendly and courtious and one even went out of her way to help by going and purching a present i had seen in a shop earlier, which meant I could surprise my wife at breakfast next morning, something like what a friend would do. Could'nt fault the food,service or the evening entertainment.
