Directions

From Ennis/Shannon/Limerick take N18 route and turn off at the Dromoland Interchange Roundabout for Quin. Quin is 3 miles or 11km approximately..

Within 10kms

You can also venture further afield to see attractions like Bunratty Castle, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Take time out of your sightseeing itinerary to enjoy some outdoor pursuits like golf, horse riding and fishing.

Cliffs of Moher
The beautiful Cliffs of Moher are one of Irelands top attractions. The cliffs are 214m high and the Aran islands can be seem from here. The visitor Centre’s restaurant offers fantastic views of the Cliffs and the Bay. Well worth a visit.

 

Description

The village of Quin is steeped in history and this is quite evident here today from attractions like a 14th century ruined abbey, and Maghadhair which was the inauguration place of the High Kings of Munster. Other must see attractions close by include Knappogue Castle and Craggaunowen Heritage Centre.
