Directions
Shannon - 16km
Leave Shannon Airport on N19 and follow signs for Limerick. After 5km join the N18 south towards Limerick. Take the first exit (approx 3km) on your left for Sixmilebridge (R471). Take a left at the top of the exit road. After 6km you will arrive in the town of Sixmilebridge. Straight through, over the bridge you will come to a crossroads at the end of the town. Turn left onto the Tulla road (R462) and drive for 3km. After the castle on your left, take the turn on your right which is signposted "Mount Cashel Accommodation". Drive down this narrow road for 1km, the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
Limerick - 19km
Exit the N18 at Cratloe (R462)and proceed straight to Sixmilebridge. The Tulla road is straight through Sixmilebridge. From Sixmilebridge drive for 3km, after the castle on your left, take the turn on your rightwhich is signposted "Mount Cashel Accommodation". Drive down this narrow road for for 1km, the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.
Ennis - 19km
Follow signs for Quin (R469) and then Sixmilebridge(R462). Immediatly after Kilmurry village the house sign, "Mount Cashel Accommodation" is on your left. Drive down this narrow road for for 1km, the Mount Cashel stone wall & gate entrance will be on your left.

You’ll find each of the 2 bedrooms are furnished, decorated and equipped to the highest 4 star standard and can accommodate up to five people. The master bedroom consists of a double queen size bed and a single bed with breathtaking views of the lake from the window. The twin bedroom offers 2 single beds with an en suite toilet, sink and shower.
The main bathroom has a full bath, shower, toilet and sink.
Bed linen, duvet quilts, pillows and towels are provided.

The entrance hallway leads to the living/dining room with a very comfortable 3 piece suite, wood burning stove, dining table, free satellite TV and broadband internet connection. French doors open onto a private patio, lawn and woods with views and direct access to Castle Lake.
The kitchen is fully fitted with an oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and dryer, a microwave and a whole range of kitchen utensils at your fingertips. Aswell as ironing board and telephone.

When you stay at Mount Cashel Lodge, your days can be filled with strolls along the inspiring riverside walk, relaxing in the Victorian gardens or fishing on the adjacent lake. Other outdoor activities to enjoy in this wonderful area include golfing (10km) and horse riding (4km).
When staying at Mount Cashel Lodge guests can enjoy the many activities this beautiful lakeside setting provides, such as relaxing lakeside walks, lake fishing, boating and sailing around the Crannog are very popular activities. Pike, bream and perch are common species of fish caught. Trout are also present but harder to catch! A local well known "gillie" is available by the day, for the ardent (or novice) fisherman and woman. Advance booking is required.
The woods provide pleasant walks and numerous opportunities for exploring and birdwatching.
Other outdoor activities to enjoy in this wonderful area include golfing (10km) and horse riding (4k).

This is also an excellent choice as a base for touring as it is centrally located for touring the dramatic west coast and rugged south west. Local attractions not to be missed while in the area includeBunratty Castle and Folk Park, Craggaunowen or venture west to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
