From Shannon Airport: N18 – Ennis – N68 to Kilrush N67 to Kilkee
From the outskirts of Kilkee: Continue straight into Kilkee from Kilrush. Continue straight until you arrive at a junction with the Stella Maris Hotel on your right at the corner. Turn left down O’Curry Street, which is the main street in the town and is a one way system..
At the bottom of the street you will arrive at a roundabout. Take the second left, signposted for Carraigaholt. Continue straight up the hill for half a mile until you see Moore Bay Holiday Village on the right hand side.
Within Walking Distance
When you stay at Moore Bay Holiday Village you are only a walk from the town centre and the beach.
This is the ideal destination for a family holiday as there’s just so much to see and do here.
Its golden sandy beach with crisp clear blue waters are an attraction for those who enjoy swimming, surfing, diving or just sunbathing on the beach.

In addition to being right beside a wonderful beach, Kilkee has its own Waterworld and great boat trips on offer including one which visits the local Dolphin Colony at Carrigaholt and various fishing expeditions.
As well as all of these watersports the area has some excellent and challenging golf courses and beautiful scenic walks. Kilkee is a great base from which to tour the surrounding countryside as when stay there you are within easy reach of the Cliff of Moher, The Burren, The Ailwee Caves, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and North Kerry.

The town is also home to an 18 hole championship golf course, some excellent shore and rock fishing outlets and amazing cliff walks.
For rainy days, there is an indoor water theme park and during the summer there are children’s amusements.
If you want to take in some sightseeing, then this is a great base from which you can tour the west coast and its attractions, such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren National Park and the Aillwee Caves.
