Directions

From Dublin: Take the M7 – N7 and continue on straight heading towards Portlaoise – Roscrea – Nenagh bypassing all 3 towns. About 15-20 minutes past Nenagh you will see a signpost marked R496 Killaloe, take a right and head on down towards Killaloe approx. 3km. As you approach Killaloe, Goosers Bar will be on your right, head towards the bridge and take a left over the bridge  and turn right off the bridge on R463, proceed on this road about 1km, passing the Texaco garage on left, until you come to The Kincora Hall Hotel. Take the immediate right hand turn after the hotel. The Harbourview apartments and the Horseshoe Holidays reception are on the right.

These holiday homes are set in the grounds of the Kincora Hall Hotel (which has full bar and restaurant facilities) on the shores of the River Shannon at the southern tip of Lough Derg.
The town of Killaloe is only a short walk away with plenty of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs.

Beautiful setting. Very peaceful and relaxing but a little further from town than I had anticipated....a wee tip welcome book very helpful but no where did it give the correct code for dialing taxis from our mobiles ie 0353 dropp the next 0 followed by number. This would be very helpful to guests outwith Ireland. It took us 35 mins to walk home because none of the numbers would connect...I have arthritis and this was difficult. A fellow guest next day was able to help out with codes. Definately would go back to Kilaloe....wonderful people.
