Lahinch is recognised as one of the most spectacular and clean seaside resorts in Ireland and has a magnificent beach to prove this. It is popular for surfing, diving, swimming or just lazing on the golden sandy beach. The town also boasts two 18 hole golf links, a surf school, a waterpark and aquarium. Pony trekking is available along the beach and there are also outlets for game, course and sea angling. At night the town comes alive with many of pubs providing great Irish music in a friendly atmosphere. Lahinch is also an excellent base from which to tour the wonders of County Clare like the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and the Aillwee Caves.
