Take exit for Newmarket on Fergus off N18, taking you on to R458 to the village, Fergus Lodge is situated beside the Great Gas Filling Station. 

Fergus Lodge is within walking distance of the bus stop, which operates bus services to Shannon, Ennis, Bunratty, Limerick, Galway and Dublin.

Local Area

Newmarket-on-Fergus is situated six miles from the town of Ennis and a great location for visiting attractions such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the castles of Bunratty and Knappogue. Tours can also be arranged to Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway.

The surrounding countryside is a haven for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, horse riding, water sports, hill walking and you can also play some golf at the renowned Dromoland Castle golf course, which is just 1 mile from the B&B. In the evening, take the two minute walk into town where you'll find a host of restaurants and bars for you to choose from.
