The pretty little village of Feakle in County Clare will welcome people from all over the world to this traditional music festival. This is a music festival celebrating the east Clare style of traditional music, but with an international and contemporary twist.

The opening ceremony takes place on the Wednesday night and it will be a tribute to local muscians both past and present. The 2009 festival will also feature lots of set dancing.

On the Thursday night there will be an early and late concert held in the wonderful setting of Caher House on the shores of Lough Graney. The evening will feature Sean Tyrell and musicians Tony MacMahon and Steve Cooney. A bus service will run to and from the village.

On the Friday night the line up includes Shaun Davey, Rita Connolly, Eilis Ni Chinnéíde, Seamus Begley, Eoin Begley, Lawrence Courtney, and Gerry O Brien.

There will also be a concert on the Saturday night and it will focus on 'Clare Connections'.

During the festival there will also be some free open air entertainment and lots to keep the kids entertained. There will also be lots of workshops.
