The holiday home is only one hundred metres from the River Fergus and just 2km from Lake Inchiquin, which are two of the main angling hotspots in the area. The area is also popular for birdwatching especially in the winter and there is even a hide near the holiday home. Curraghkyle is also an excellent place to base yourself for visiting some major attractions like the Cliffs of Moher, Lough Derg and the Burren region.
