Ballyvaughan is situated on the north coast of the burren. It is a pleasant drive, no matter which direction you're coming from.
Ray's Country Cottages are situated at Bishop's Quarter about 2km outside Ballyvaughan Village, on the road to Galway. If you come from Galway, you will see Bishop's Quarter signposted to the right.

Ray's Country Cottages
The Burren in County Clare is one of the most unusual landscapes to be found in Ireland. The limestone mountains are largely denuded of soil, so the landscape is composed of cracked, fissured, incredibly weathered grey rock.
