The return road on the Atlantic (north) side of the peninsula, passes (8 km) the Bridges of Ross, a remarkable product of cliff erosion by the ocean. There were formerly town natural bridges at the entrance to an inlet, but the larger, and more impressive of the two, has been partially worn away, leaving only the thinner arch.
