For the Golf enthusiast the Clare Inn Hotel & Leisure Centre is the perfect location to sample some of the best golf courses in the Shannon region, offering our guests preferential green fees in the magnificent Dromoland Golf Course on which the hotel is situated, also the 'Wood Stock', and 'Ennis' Golf Courses in near by Ennis and 'Shannon' Golf Courses in Shannon Or watch how the pros do it on Sky Sports over a drink in Poachers Bar.

Our extensive Children's facilities present a range of activities for all ages. The Kids plus programme will entertain children from 4-12 years at the Dennis' Den play centre, with face painting; colouring, videos, games and kiddies teas hosted by Sammy the Squirrel. Younger children are supervised in the crèche, as parents relax and enjoy all the hotel has to offer.

The Clare Inn Hotel & Leisure Centre offers you the Blue Dolphin Kids Club, designed to give parents the opportunity to relax and enjoy your break at the hotel. The Programme will run daily during July & August, Saturday and Sunday's of Bank Holiday weekends and daily during mid term breaks and Christmas (excluding 25th Dec).
Hours of fully supervised fun including indoor and outdoor activities such as painting, arts & crafts, hip hop dancing lessons relay races, character family dinners plus great nightly entertainment including Kids Disco!

The Clare Inn Hotel and Leisure Centre boasts 182 luxurious bedrooms that are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, each with multi-channel TV, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, Internet access, and tea/coffee making facilities. Most bedrooms boast spectacular views over the golf course and surrounding countryside and beautiful Shannon estuary. Family rooms accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.

Also available are 34 new 2-bedroom Family Lodges within the grounds of the Clare Inn Estate each with their own en-suite facilities. Each consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, kitchenette and spacious living area. Each has its own car parking space in front of the suite. These suites are ideal for long-stay guests or for families.

The Aqua and Fitness Club opens Monday to Friday 7am - 10pm, Saturday 9am - 7pm & Sunday 9am - 6pm. Facilities include: Indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, kiddies pool & gym. Outdoor activities include tennis court, 18 hole pitch n putt course and crazy golf. In addition we have a supervised crèche for young children, Dennis Den supervised play centre with child minding available on request. (payable locally).

hotel was nice could do with renovation as a little shabby but for the price we paid it was good value.Kids club was very good running from 10am till 10pm with various entertainment.

The rooms were well appointed and comfortable, everything was there and we wanted for nothing EXCEPT there was no WiFi connection, there was one pay as you go machine in a very uncomfortable spot, with one chair (there are two of us), the machine did not work. I was most surprised and inconvenienced by the fact I could not contact family via email during my stay.
