If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing base from which to explore the spectacular West of Ireland, then look no further than Burren Crag Farmhouse near Ennis in County Clare.

This 3 star self catering holiday home is located in a tranquil rural setting and is surrounded by a lovely garden and an orchard. As its name suggests, it is situated in the Burren, an area of unique landscape with outstanding beauty and distinctive plant life.

This farmhouse is modern and very spacious with seven bedrooms, four of which are en suite and  can sleep up to 10 people comfortably.  The lounge, dining room and kitchen are all nicely furnished with all the necessities for guest to have a relaxing and stress free stay.  Other features of Burren Crag Farmhouse are a Jacuzzi, an open fire, a garden for guest use and private parking.

From Shannon or Limerick:
From Shannon or Limerick:
Coming form Shannon or Limerick, stay on N18 bypassing Ennis and Barefield.
Take first right after end of Dual carriageway.
Burren Crag is first house on right.

From Ennis:
Travel towards Galway, as above, but avoid going into Barefield Village.

From Galway, Athlone or Dublin:
Travel through Gort staying on N18 through Crusheen and take 2nd left
Burren Crag is first house on right.

There are 7 bedrooms in total in this house, sleeping up to 10 people making it ideal for large families or a friends re-union.  3 double and 2 single bedrooms are located on the ground floor.  2 of these double rooms offer en-suite facilities.

The further two bedrooms are on the 1st floor, these are both double rooms and also have en suite facilities.

Bed linen, towels, high chair, travel buggy and extra beds are available on request.

The house includes a TV lounge with open fire, 2 reception areas,a dining room, a large fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons, a seperate utility/laundry room with washing machine/tumble dryer and a separate WC downstairs.

Outside is a drying shed, lawned garden with orchard and ample parking, guests can also borrow a Barbeque for cooking their freshly caught fish.
