Very pleased with the hotel. No teletext in room but would get over that.

I was surprised at what a large 'Travel Lodge' type place it was - had a more homey B&B feel from the online marketing material.... We enjoyed our stay, during some pretty bad weather (sleet, freezing, rain) and harsh road conditions. I appreciated the major road location of Auburn Lodge. One thing I'd suggest is an improvement in the food... pretty watery vegetables and tough, tough, tough meat... AWFUL chowder, but some good soup.
I ENJOYED MY STAY AND FOUND THE STAFF FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL IT WAS ALSO EASY TO FIND AND GET TO PARKING ACROSS THE ROAD AND THE HOTEL PAYED FOR THE PARKING FOR YOU.
Good value for money. Good standard rooms.
I just had a fantastic weekend. Had a lovely room, clean, nice friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay.
