Situated on a working farm Annaly House is a family run bed & breakfast offering an excellent standard of accommodation.

This Bed & Breakfast is located on the scenic R477 between the picturesque villages of Doolin and Ballyvaughan in County Clare.

The house offers 4 beautifully furnished bedrooms is family friendly and close to many amenities.

Annaly House is situated on the R477 coast road between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna, approximately 10 miles to either village. We are on the sea front overlooking Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. Situated just 300 yards on the Ballyvaughan side of O'Donohoe's pub.

Description


For those who want to holiday beside the sea, this is the place to stay – there's a beach less than a mile away. It's a fantastic base for watersports based holidays and golf, angling, horse riding and hill walking are also popular here.

The house, which is a split-level bungalow, has four guest bedrooms, all of which are comfortable and nicely decorated.

Ballyvaughan is a stunning fishing village situated on the west coast of Ireland on the southern shores of Galway Bay.  This is an ideal base from where to explore the Burren region and is an easy drive to the Cliffs of Moher.

The village has many old pubs where you can hear traditional music or have a hearty meal.  There are many unspoilt beaches in the area such as Bishopsquarter which is great for walking and a family day out or for the more adventurious Fanore, the ways here make it a popular spot with surfers.

I recommend Annaly House to anyone visiting Fanore. We were made feel like good friends visiting. Our room was perfect,breakfast was a feast and we were even offered tea before we left! The location is spectacular and an added bonus is that the local pub is less than a 5 minute walk away so no problem with enjoying a pint before bed. I plan on returning to Annaly house again soon.
