Directions

Farnham Estate is located within two hours’s drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 3km from Cavan town.
From Dublin
Take the M3 motorway through Dunshaughlin, Navan and onto Cavan Town. When driving through the town, go straight through the traffic lights and take a left at the next small roundabout, following the Killeshandra/Crossdoney (R198) road. 1km from here, keep left at the fork in the road. Continue past Cavan Golf Club and you will come to the main entrance of the hotel approx. 3km from Cavan town.
From Belfast
Follow the M1 and continue towards the A4 (Enniskillen). At the Ballygawley roundabout, take the first exit onto the A4. When you enter Enniskillen, follow the signs to Cavan going through Derrylin, Belturbet and then into Cavan town. From the town, take the Killeshandra/Crossdoney (R198) road. 1km from here, keep left at the fork in the road. Continue past Cavan Golf Club and you will come to the main entrance of the hotel approx. 4 km from Cavan town.

Description

Farnham Estate Health Spa is an oasis for guests offering a range of luxury therapies in top class facilities. Take a swim in the amazing infinity pool with great views across the surrounding countryside (adults only). Walk the 7km trails through the estate and from mid 2008, enjoy a round of golf in the championship golf course.

Each of the 146 standard rooms are spread over three floors. They are tastefully furnished and designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The interior of the bedrooms has combined contemporary furnishings with the latest modern amenities. Facilities in the rooms include walk in showers, wireless broadband as well as flat screen LCD televisions.
There are twelve suites in the hotel; eight of these are located in the 400-year-old Farnham House. Each of the suites in the hotel are unique in design and size – you’ll find nothing else like them in all of Ireland.

Hotel was great - great setting and very well furnished rooms. Service at lunch the day wew were there was a bit haphazard but there was a wedding on and the hotel was very busy. The leisure facilities were pretty good also. Would recommend for a weekend away.
