Beatty's Farmhouse
is located close to wooded Crossdoney, which is 10 minutes drvie from Cavan town. This is a two storey self catering house with spacioius lawn and yard, adjacent to unspoilt and tranquil nature trails through the woods.
The house was lovingly lived in by the Beatty family for generations and the farm is still actively farmed by your host Rose Fitzimmons and her husband Jim.
From here you are only a 5 minute drive from Ballinagh village wity post office and supermarkets providing all the essentials including back link and internet access.

The farmhouse has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. Bedrooms are beautifully furnished with a homely feel.
Facilities
Welcome refreshments on arrival for each guest including wholemeal, home baked bread and scones baked fresh and also some basics for the kitchen.
An inventory list is available to guests to assist you in locating items. Central heating will be on in the winter for when you arrive and can be timed to suit your needs.

Local Area
Within walking distance of Beatty's Farmhouse is the Shantully Inn, located in Crossdoney village this is a newly refurbished restaurant and bar. It is renowned for it's delicious homemade lunches, homemade desserts and evening meals. There is always live music in the bar at weekends with a wonderful homely atmosphere.
Cavan town is a 10 minute drive from here, you will find plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is also an equestrian centre, genealogy centre and library.
Kool Kids activity and recreation centre for children is located at Corlurgan Business Park. The farmhouse is close to the famous Lough Oughter, Lough Gowna and Killeshandra - where there are numberous fishing lakes and tourist attractions.
