The Virginia Heritage Group welcome all visitors to the Virginia Street Fair and Vintage Display.

The annual Virginia Street Fair, held on the last Sunday of June every year, is a reconstruction of Virginia's original 'Fairday' with animals, trading on the street, craft demonstration and entertainment. Visitors can see Cavan's largest display of vintage vehicles and participate in traditional Irish music and dancing....

Old Fair Day in Dowra is reliving the fairs of long ago. It has fun fair street stalls, tug of war, sheep shearing, music on the streets. A Rose of the Fair is crowned on the first day of the event.

Shercock Heritage and Vintage festival is a rapidly growing festival weekend which brings a mixture of the past and present to the small rural town of Shercock, situated thirty minutes from Drogheda, Navan and Dundalk and just over an hour from Dublin. Event dates to be confirmed...

Re enactment of traditional fair events. Includes cattle dealing, craft demonstation, butter churning, basket making, horse shoeing. Prize cattle, horses and dogs. Busking, traditional music and dance. Lots of activities for children and babies dates to be confirmed...

NYAH presents acclaimed fiddle-guitar duo Liz Carroll and John Doyle at Farnham Arms Hotel, Main Street, Cavan Town for a special NYAH May Concert on Friday 19th May at 9.30pm.
