We had no trouble with the Hotel at all. We were just looking for a cheap getaway and we got it. The rooms were lovely and cosy.

The hotel is lovely and relaxing however we felt that the soundproofness between rooms was very poor, we heard the conversations of those in the room next to us quite clearly,. We were not informed that there was a prom on in the hotel on our second night and the noise continued into the wee hours of the morning. There was a lot of noise. I felt that we should have had some discount or voucher for the inconvenience. Had we been told we could have made up our own mind wherither to stay or not. The desk staff were delightfull and apart from a grumpy and unfriendly dining room staff on Thur morning everyone was very nice and helpful indeed. The beauty rooms had great facilities and wonderful staff. The grounds are beautiful but need a caretaker badly.
Nice hotel with very pleasant staff. Restaurant was excellent but the bar food was not even close to the same standard. The rooms were nice but had very bizarre arrangements for heating and lighting neither of which worked well.
It was lovely and relaxing, just the place to spend time away from the hussle and bussle.
